February 3, 2010 – Los Angeles, CA – The weekly medical marijuana based television show, Cannabis Planet, will launch Season 2 with 13 new episodes premiering February 5th at 10:30 p.m. on KJLA TV in Los Angeles.
Cannabis Planet is a weekly 30 minute television show focused on the merits of the Cannabis Plant, medicinally, agriculturally and industrially. Weekly topics include Cannabis news and information, cultivation tips, collective profiles, celebrity interviews, music and more. Season Two will kick-off with an episode devoted exclusively to the Los Angeles City Council decisions regarding access to medical marijuana.
Cannabis Planet has new co-hosts for Season Two: Brandon Stone, (Princeton graduate and medical marijuana patient) and Jean Marie Tolkien (medical marijuana patient) will be joined by News Anchor Patrick Finerty (cannabis activist). Renowned California horticulturist and best-selling author Ed Rosenthal returns as the resident “Growing Guru” featuring cultivation tips. Also returning will be Resident Chef Michael Delao providing his weekly Cannabis Cuisine recipes. Season One host Ngaio Bealum will report from the field along with Seirah Royin.
