Environment: I really like the look and feel of this place. The art in the waiting room rules & the patients area is quite colorful. Definitely a pretty cool lil shop ;o)

Other Notes: These guys may not have as many strains on hand as Kushmart or TLMD, but they do have high quality stains at decent prices. They also give you a free 8th after a certain number of visits ;o)
Overall Rating: Overall I liked this shop. They had a cool staff & they have all of the necessary accessories & utensils available as well.

WARNING!!!!THIS IS BY FAR THE WORST DISPENSARY I HAVE EVER BEEN TO!!!!! yesterday, i decided to visit a new dispensary in the hollywood area. i usually go to KushMart or Grateful Meds when in hollywood, but i (foolishly) thought i might broaden my horizons. after lookking up dispensaries in the 90028 zip code, i found a write up for Atomic on legalmarijuanadispensary.com here is the link so you can read everything i read: http://legalmarijuanadispensary.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&catid=51&id=994&Itemid=118
Well, i don’t know if this guy ‘Jack’ sold the place or what, but this was by far the biggest SHAM of a dispensary i’ve ever been to. upon walking in, you can see that the space used to be used for an internet cafe, as the computer cubicles are all still set up. the ‘receptionist’, if you can call her that, was practically sliding off of her chair she was so inebriated. Behind her sat two middle eastern men, who i also assumed were employees. When i presented my Doctor’s note and California ID, they looked at them, and handed them back to me, without putting me in a database or verifying my credentials. they then asked for my note and ID BACK so they could make a copy to keep for their records (they still NEVER verified me). I inquired as to whether they did free gifts for first time patients, and was told that they did. Upon copying my ID, one of the middle eastern men ushered me towards the back, where i assumed there was a seperate room to receive your medication, as the main room was clearly still set up as an internet cafe. he then proceeded to lead me to one of the cubicles, where there were a measly 5 strains to choose from, and a $20 made in china scale (i used to work at a head shop, so i know aout such items). His best strain on hand was some hairajuana OG. it was decently cured, and was what the label read it was. However, with KushMart a mere hop, skip, and a jump away, his asking price of $65/8th was too rich for my blood. i instead opted to purchase a gram of some decent AF-Pak which he had, and after he weighed my gram out on his scale of questionable accuracy, when i inquired about the free gift, he told me that they didn’t really do free gifts, that they had been joking around with me. i told them that their write ups on dispensary locating websites clearly stated that they offered a free gram to first time patients, and he told me that the write ups ‘must be old.’ when i politely told him that i would not be purchasing said gram, i was told to ‘Never Come Back’, to which i replied, ‘No Problem’. Places like Atomic Collective are what’s causing problems for legitimate, compassionate collectives. These are a ramshackle group of drug dealers selling their wares out of an office space, and i urge anyone serious about keeping Prop 215 alive and well in California NOT to patronize this establishment or any others like it.

So, I gotta wounder, The writer of the First review was correct and described the shop very well, The cool art work he spoke of was By Air brush artist Bobby Ras and There was a Life Size painting of Henry Hemp. So the one who was disappointed Was there still cool art int the lobby? I never seen no CUBICLES and it wasn’t no internet cafe before it was a cigarette smoke shop for 6years…I was told ATOMIC had closed back in NOV 2009.

I can Have Henry Hemp being misrepresented by a Bad Club if that’s what it is now! Or you need to correct your review (Unsatisfied) and statements about ATOMIC cuz I know it to be a NICE CLUB!
